Healing young minds through music, art, and empathy — in the communities that need it most.

with the belief that no child should carry their pain alone."

What is
Blooming TanMan?

Blooming TanMan is a flagship mental wellness programme that brings emotional literacy, mindfulness, and creative healing to children in marginalised communities — children in under-resourced schools and labour camps who rarely have access to mental health support.

Weekly sessions weave together music, visual art, and structured empathy training — creating a space where children can feel safe, heard, and valued. The approach is not clinical. It is human, creative, and grounded in decades of experience with how children learn and heal.

The programme currently operates across schools and labour camps in Delhi NCR and Western India, with ambitions to grow.

Inside a Session

Three Pillars of the Programme

Music

Rhythm and song as a shared language — lowering barriers, lifting spirits, and creating a sense of belonging for children who are often made to feel invisible.

Visual Art

Drawing, painting, and mandala creation as a non-verbal outlet for feelings that children may not yet have words for. No artistic skill required. Only presence.

Empathy Training

Guided activities and conversations that help children name their emotions, understand others' perspectives, and build the social-emotional vocabulary to navigate life.
